Reviews for Pizzeria di Cosimo
Review highlights
Based on 2,857 reviewsPizzeria di Cosimo in Bari is widely recognized for its authentic Italian pizza featuring a thin, flavorful crust that appeals to both locals and tourists. The establishment's location in a lively, traditional square adds to its vibrant and genuine atmosphere, often bustling with patrons, especially during the evenings. While the food quality, including specialties like panzerotti and fried snacks, consistently receives praise for taste and reasonable pricing, the service is noted as functional but not the main draw. The takeaway style with disposable cutlery reflects a casual, informal dining experience rather than a sit-down restaurant ambiance. Visitors appreciate the lively local culture surrounding the pizzeria, though some express concerns about the environmental impact of disposable packaging amid the tourist crowds. Overall, Pizzeria di Cosimo is favored for its quality, authentic Italian pizza and dynamic atmosphere, making it a popular spot for a quick, flavorful meal in Bari’s historic center.
Very good pizza and the price is ok. We tried several types of pizza (three evenings) and they were all tasty. The pizzeria is located in a nice square in the old town of Bari. The location is typically Italian. The pizza has a very thin crust, but that's how we like pizza. Every time there was a lot of people, but I didn't wait long (only 5 minutes). Don't expect a restaurant, it's a pizzeria with tables and chairs outside, in the square. But I liked this, the market, the location, the old town all create the typical Italian experience and atmosphere!
The Panzerotti were really good, one of the best I tasted in Bari. We come in the evening and it was quite the rush, to be honest service wasn’t the best but it’s not a place you go to for that. As usual you have to pay copperto if you want to eat there. You can easily take it to go and eats somewhere else.
This place is considered one of the best in Bari when it comes to pizza. We ate there several times and it is absolutely delicious. There are a lot of people in the evenings because the place is popular among tourists, but it is worth it. In addition to pizza, there are also other good things like arancini or pieces of fried cheese and croquettes.
Great Italian pizza! Usually in the evening you should wait on the line to order. The piazza is very autenthic and vibrant in the evenings. All generations of Italians are outside talking, eating and drinking. Kids are playing around. Just an Italian lifestyle!
They serve delicious pizza here at reasonable prices. I can really recommend it in terms of taste. I just don't know what has happened to Italian table culture. Instead of plates, you now get cardboard boxes and disposable cutlery. It's not very cosy, and with the masses of tourists here, I wonder where all the rubbish ends up.
Amazing pizza in amazing place. In the evening the square is alive and has wonderful atmosphere. The wait for the pizza is a bit longer because of how many people are there but worth it!
The pizza is really good, tasty, but the dough is a bit too burned. I recommend to not buy the large peroni’s, because one 0,66 bottle costs 6€!!
good pizza but adding coperto to the pizza for eating from boxes and drinking beer from a bottle is a bit of an exaggeration, apart from the above, I liked the pizza, plus the surroundings create the atmosphere
